Search Optimisation (SEO)
Search Optimisation.
Before undertaking a search optimisation / SEO project it is important to consider the purpose of promoting a website. Without this high search engine rankings can be obtained without any end benefit to you as a business. Put another way, optimising your website and getting to the top of google is only helpful if people visit the site and are interested in what it is promoting.
We belive that search optimisation should be considered as an invitation (or bait) for a visitor to enter your website - the design and content of your site must then take over and guide the visitor to the desired outcome (a purchase phone call or enquiry for example).
We are particularly experienced in Joomla SEO projects and use a carefully selected range of tools to make your Joomla website search engine friendly (SEF) and able to achieve a high Google ranking.
As part of any search optimisation / SEO campaign we review a site to ensure that the visitor is presented with content that relates to their interest.
- Does the visitor understand the companies offering?
- Does the visitor understand if the site is for trade or end customer?
- Does the visitor understand if they are buying something and how to do this?
- Does the site show the visitor what they searched for and provide a clear and simple route for the visitor to make contact with the company?
Although not strictly SEO, this is important because part of the optimisation work will focus on integrating the search terms into the site page text. This will be of little benefit if the visitor is confused and clicks off the site (statistically visitors are impatient and will make a decision to stay or move to another site in less than a second).
